The Canary Islands (Islas Canarias) are an archipelago of the Kingdom of Spain consisting of seven islands in the Atlantic Ocean. They are a part of the autonomous communities of Spain.
The seven islands that are the Canary Islands are: (from largest to smallest)
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro,
The Republic of Cuba is organized into 14 Provinces and 169 Municipal Authorities.
Pinar del Río, La Habana, Ciudad de La Habana, Matanzas, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos, Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Ávila, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguín, Granma, Santiago de Cuba y Guantánamo.
