'Food For Thought ' with Women's Lives

Here is a link from Gena Philibert-Ortega's blog-   Food.Family.Ephemera. ~Gena Philibert-Ortega
It is a part of her interview segment with Lisa Louise Cooke of 'Genealogy Gems'.
I found it interesting and enjoyed listening to their suggestions on using recipes and cookbooks to help 'document' the lives of women on a more personal note.  Several ideas were mentioned on preserving newspaper clippings and recipe cards which I found helpful.  If you are interested,  the entire interview can be found at  Genealogy Gems Podcast, Episode 137

The lives of women are multi-faceted and I believe there are so many more ways to tell their stories that help embellish all the facts of information that we find in documents and vital records.
